There are several marketplaces where you can browse websites to purchase.
We recommend Flippa as the first place to start. You can sign up for a free profile and start browsing the various listings to see what is currently available. You will notice that most listings are via an auction, though there are also some sites for sale as a classified listing.
Flippa also provides the ability for a seller to link up there Google Analytics and Ads accounts to display the current data for their website. This provides a quick overview of the performance of the website without going through the process of requesting access or trying to verify. The idea is if the initial data looks good, then you can choose to contact the seller to request access to complete further due diligence before bidding.
You can also set up saved searches so you are automatically notified via email when new listings are created that meet your specifications.
Please note we are are not website brokers or a marketplace to sell and buy websites.
Learn About The Buying Process
Confidence grows with knowledge, so we encourage buyers to fully understand the process of buying a website and what makes a good investment. Understanding how to value a website, complete due diligence, identify areas for improvement plus understanding the potential risks is essential.
We aim to teach others about how to do this, and recommend you review the various articles about buying a website within our resources area.
Due Diligence Assessment And Report
We are able to provide a due diligence service on websites that are for sale. Once a potential website is identified, we will conduct a thorough review of all available data. This will be presented in a report breaking down each key area and make recommendations on the know information.
Please be aware that these recommendations are not financial advice, and no responsibility will be taken for decisions made using our report. A buyer must do as much due diligence themselves so they are confident in making a purchase. It is ultimately your money, and there will always be a risk with any investment.
Our due diligence process is to provide a second set of eyes, such as highlighting potential areas of concern that may require further investigation with the seller prior to purchasing.
